What are the main obstructions for solar panel photovoltaic power stations?

 

The obstructions of solar panels are mainly distributed around trees and vegetation around the photovoltaic power station, buildings, natural terrain, dust, dirt, bird droppings, fallen leaves, and natural terrain common in mountainous areas.

 

In the long-term use of solar panel photovoltaic systems, it is inevitable to fall on obstructions such as birds, dust, and fallen leaves. These obstructions form shadows on the solar cell modules. Do not think that they will not be blocked when they are not blocked during the survey. Some trees may not block. Photovoltaic arrays, but after several years of growth, new branches and leaves may become sources of occlusion. What are the effects of blocking solar panels?

 

When the solar module assembly is blocked, it will induce the bypass protection component in the junction box behind it to start. The DC current of up to 9A in the component string will be instantaneously loaded onto the bypass device, resulting in local current and voltage of the solar cell module. The product increases, resulting in a local temperature rise on these battery components, which will generate more than 100 degrees of high temperature in the junction box. This phenomenon is called "hot spot effect". This high temperature has little effect on the panel and junction box in a short period of time, but if the shadow effect is not eliminated and exists for a long time, when the hot spot effect reaches a certain level, the solder joint on the component melts and destroys the grid line, resulting in the entire sun. Scrap of battery components. Obviously, the occlusion seriously affects the service life of the junction box and the panel, and seriously affects the power generation and reduces the revenue.

 

How to solve the problem of solar panel occlusion?

 

First, plant occlusion: in the survey and installation to fully consider the plant's growth year, consider whether the shade, branches and leaves cause occlusion, if there is occlusion can be cut.

 

Second, the corner guard: the corner shield is also present at the scene, but the number is not a lot, the general corner will be removed directly.

 

Third, the terrain difference occlusion: here the terrain difference should take into account the north and south of the component, whether the components cause shadow occlusion; the same array of different sub-array heights cause occlusion; at the same time the shadow between the floors should also be considered.

 

4. Blocking of mud, bird droppings, sand dust, etc.: After the power station is built, mud, bird mites, sand dust, etc. will block the components, which should be checked and cleaned regularly.
